These terms apply when you purchase products from Dan & Lion.
Prices and charges that you must pay
All prices on this website are in Australian dollars and are inclusive of GST. You must pay any charges that you agree when you check out your purchase, including any shipping fees and applicable taxes.
Changes to your order
If you need to change or cancel an order, please contact us immediately. We will do our best to stop the order before it is filled.
You may not change or cancel an order after it has been shipped.
When we will deliver your order
We will deliver your products using the method you agree when you check out your purchase (or, if you do not otherwise agree, through Australia Post’s Standard International delivery, Standard (local) and Express Post (local) services.
We will let you know if we cannot process or deliver your order promptly.
You may need to sign for deliveries or present valid photo identification to collect them.
Our liability to you
To the extent permitted by law, we do not accept any liability for any loss you suffer in connection with the use of our products.
You are solely responsible for determining the suitability of the products for the purpose that you intend to use them. We always recommend testing a small area of skin and waiting 12-24 hours to ensure there is no skin sensitivity. You should also consult your doctor before using our products if you have a pre-existing medical condition.
If we cannot exclude our liability for conditions and warranties implied by law, we limit it to the resupply of the relevant service or goods, or paying you the cost of that resupply.
Refund policy
Please send an email to info@danandlion.com within 30 days of your purchase, to obtain an authorisation number and the correct mailing information. Simply return the unused bottle, and we will be happy to remit your account for the full amount of your purchase, minus the shipping costs as these fees are non-refundable.
We recommend that you select a shipping service with reliable tracking and perhaps include shipping insurance, as we cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item. You will be responsible for paying shipping costs when returning your item. If we do not receive your item, or it has been used or damaged when we received it, you are not entitled to a refund.
All returned parcels are inspected and we will notify you of the approval or rejection status of your refund. If approved, we will refund your credit card or original method of payment, within 5-10 business days.
Damaged merchandise
We accept returns for damaged goods up to 10 days after placing your order. Retain the freight box and merchandise and email us immediately with a photo showing the damage to your purchase at info@danandlion.com and we will provide you with further instruction.
Events outside our control
If an event outside our control prevents or delays us from meeting our obligations to you (e.g. Australia Post cannot deliver your products due to inclement weather), we are not liable to you, and the time we have to perform those obligations will be extended until the event ceases.
Other terms that apply to your purchase
All orders and these terms of sale are governed by the law of Victoria, Australia. You and we submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria.
